SAFETY FOR LABOUR HIRE AND TRAFFIC CONTROL SERVICES

Trident’s goal is to eliminate or minimise potential health and safety hazards associated with the construction activities performed. Trident will ensure all employees and contractors working under Trident’s supervision have stringent understanding of health and safety legislative requirements, observe company standards for health and safety and conduct themselves in a manner which is not only conducive to their role but also of their fellow workers.

TRIDENT ENSURES:

Management personnel are committed to provide and maintain a safe work environment, including work conditions, practices, procedures for all employees, and facilities for consultation.
A high level of safety awareness and sound safety culture is developed throughout the company.
The utmost is done by the company to minimise hazards within the workplace in order to prevent accidents from occurring and to prevent danger to the public and other contractors.
All persons employed by Trident and any contractors or other persons involved with the operations of the company, have a personal responsibility to the company, their fellow workers, themselves and the general public to adopt and maintain appropriate health and safety standards in all their work activities.
That training is provided to employees to enable them to fulfil their job in a safe and healthy manner.

IN ADDITION, TRIDENT REQUIRES ITS EMPLOYEES TO:

Comply with company policies, procedures and rules at all times.
Ensure a safe and tidy work area or site is maintained at all times.
Ensure that they know exactly how to do their tasks safely before they start work, or take measures to consult with the Director and/or Sales Manager and/or Area Manager and Site Foreman prior to undertaking potentially hazardous activities.
Report any hazards and give ideas on how to improve safety to their supervisor or safety personnel within the company.
